Data Processing
Each PAMS flight generates a large number of overlapping photos together with a flight log that gives the approximate position and orientation of the aircraft when each photo was taken. Data processing software is used to automatically combine individual photos into a seamless mosaic that is uniform in scale and referenced to a map projection. The process uses individual camera calibration and a rigorous photogrammetric model to compute the solution.

Aerial Mapping Software
Advanced aerial mapping software is an integral part of Smartplanes personal aerial mapping system. It provides operators with a unique capabilty to produce georeferenced photo mosaics directly on-site. [More>>]
