SmartPlanes and its partners can perform mapping services using our PAMS system upon agreement. We normally charge an hourly rate plus travel costs for such projects. Airspace regulations typically require that we operate within visual range which sets the limit on the total area we can cover in one flight. We can however fly larger projects by joining several adjacent blocks together in post-processing.
We normally avoid flying directly over built-up areas, crowds of people or animals and need some unobstructed area for takeoff and landing. Contact us with your requirements and we would be happy discuss your intended site and application.
If you are potentially interested in purchasing a PAMS system to operate yourself or just generally interested in the possibilities of UAV mapping, why not order a service flight first so you can see the system in action and evaluate the results yourself.
Depending on customer requirements, we can offer:
Photos and Maps
- photographic documentation, such as buildings, facilities, events
- PhotoMap, a geo-referenced photomosaic
- Ortophoto Map, a precision geo-referenced orthophoto mosaic
Three-dimensional surface models
- DSM (Digital Surface Model), resolution after discussion with the customer
Volume Calculation
- we calculate the volumes of different objects eg rock masses, biomass, etc.
