SmartPlanes at Svalbard

Durham University has latest weeks performed at successful project with PAMS at Svalbard. It included several flights in arctic conditions with landings sometimes needed to be done in rocky terrain and on glaciers.
Durham University has used PAMS systems since some years, here is a link to a previous project in England.

Swedish Aviation Authorities releases new regulations on UAS.

SmartOne is classed 1 A that gives very few restrictions on how to use the system.
