The Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences used PAMS to study the succession of vegetation in a shallow lake in Northern Sweden as part of an environmental monitoring project. The study area was mapped in 5 overlapping flights, each one covering approximately 75 hectares. Preliminary photo mosaics were produced on-site with PAMS Aerial Mapping software to verify data quality and to plan for the field work. The flights were merged into a single block high resolution orthophoto mosaic for the detailed mapping. The orthophoto production was performed by the Germatics PAMS processing centre.
